The itinerary
Peter's Basilica, and a day or two of leisure time to explore the parts of the city that capture your heart the most. As you wander the cobblestone streets of Rome, take delight in iconic landmarks such as the Pantheon, the Roman Colosseum, the Roman Forum, the Trevi Fountain, and so much more. No matter how you choose to spend your time, the beauty of the Eternal City is sure to captivate you.
Day 01: OUT-BOUND FLIGHT
Board your overnight flight to Rome.
Day 02: ROME
Upon your arrival at Rome Fiumicino Airport, transfer to your hotel in the city center. Check into your hotel and then enjoy time at leisure to relax and get acquainted with this ancient city.
Day 03: ROME
After a delicious buffet breakfast, the day begins with a half day city tour where an expert guide will take you on a pleasant stroll through the historical center admiring the famous Trevi Fountain, the historic Pantheon and Navona Square. Then by coach, passing alongside Castel Sant’Angelo the guide will take you to the Basilica of St. Peter where you will admire one of Michelangelo's most magnificent works of art, "La Pietà" as well as the interior of St. Peter's Basilica. Rest of the day at leisure to shop and enjoy some sightseeing.
Days 04 - 05: ROME
After breakfast, you will have plenty of time to sight-see, shop, take day trips, visit museums, or just relax. Here are only a few of countless suggestions: visit of the Colosseum and Roman Forum, admire the Spanish Steps, or visit the Vittoriano Monument for an amazing 360 degree view of Rome from above. Fashion lovers may enjoy a stroll down Via Condotti, one of Rome's most fashionable and elegant streets, or find a good and unique deal in one of the many outdoor markets. For art enthusiasts, discover the immense treasures of the Vatican Museums including the breathtaking Sistine Chapel or visit one of Rome's many other art museums such as the Borghese Gallery.
Day 06: RETURN FLIGHT
Transfer to Rome Fiumicino airport for your return flight home. End of our services.
