The Italian Riviera, situated on Italy's northwestern coastline, offers unique opportunities for those travelers seeking an active vacation. With the small resort town of Levanto as your base, you will spend your days exploring this historical area and hiking in the nearby Cinque Terre National Park.

This 4-day, custom-crafted vacation package includes:
- 3 nights accommodation in 3 Star Hotel in Levanto in double/twin rooms with private facilities
- Daily Breakfast
- 1 full Day licensed tour guide assistance
- Cooking Class followed by lunch or dinner with local wine tasting
- 3 days “Cinque Terre Card” including ” including admission to the Cinque Terre National Park, access to pathways, and train transfers in the park
- Boat ticket Levanto Riomaggiore
- Vat Taxes and service Charges.
The itinerary
Composed of five fishing villages poised on rocky cliffs above the sea and connected by hiking trails, the Cinque Terre area is famous for its picturesque seaside views and charming atmosphere. During this tour you will also have a day dedicated to a hands-on cooking class where you will learn the secrets behind some of the staples of the local cuisine, such as pesto. With a good balance between active time and time at leisure, this independent itinerary is among the best ways to enjoy the Cinque Terre and the rest of the Italian Riviera.
DAY1: LEVANTO, CINQUE TERRE NATIONAL PARK
Arrival on your own in Levanto, a lovely sea resort on the border with the Cinque Terre National Park, a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. Check in at your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Levanto has a rich historical past that you can admire in the beautiful square Piazza della Loggia right in the town center with a medieval Loggia as well as in the many elegant villas, nice churches and an interesting medieval Castle that is still intact. Besides its historical heritage, Levanto is also a well-known resort town with a beautiful sandy beach and a colorful market.
DAY 2: TREKKING WITH GUIDE, CINQUE TERRE NATIONAL PARK
Enjoy a nice Italian breakfast at your hotel and get ready for a wonderful active day in this beautiful paradise. Meet with your tour guide at your hotel and travel along the coast by boat to reach Riomaggiore where you will start your walk. The best way to discover the Cinque Terre National Park is on foot taking in every detail. Along the walking paths, which up to a short while ago were the only routes between the five small villages of Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore, you will discover breathtaking views suspended between sky and sea. Prepare to take photos of high cliffs over the blue deep sea, terraced vineyards, ancient olive trees, colorful fishermen villages with no car traffic and smiling inhabitants. At the end of the day, return by train to your hotel in Levanto for a good night's sleep.
DAY 3: LEVANTO, LIGURIAN COOKING CLASS, CINQUE TERRE NATIONAL PARK
This day will find you relaxing and cooking up a storm! After a relaxing morning, we offer a hands-on cooking class in Ligurian cuisine in a typical country house, teaching you to make traditional dishes. You’ll eat the fruit of your labors in this lovely country house set amongst vineyards and olive groves, with your classmates and tasting some good local wine. If you prefer, the cooking class could be also in the morning followed by lunch. Overnight stay at your hotel in Levanto.
DAY 4: LEVANTO, CINQUE TERRE NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, the tour and our services will end.
