This 4-day, custom-crafted vacation package includes:
- 3 nights accommodation in 3 Star Hotel in Monterosso al Mare in double/twin rooms with private facilities
- Daily Breakfast
- 1 full Day licensed tour guide assistance
- 2 days “Cinque Terre Card” including ” including admission to the Cinque Terre National Park, access to pathways, and train transfers in the park
- Train ticket from Monterosso to La Spezia
- Boat ticket La Spezia – Palmaria Island – Portovenere Monterosso
- Vat Taxes and service Charges.
The itinerary
You will also have a day dedicated to trekking on the stunning Island of Palmaria, offering unique verdant landscapes and breathtaking views of the Gulf of Poets. Other highlights worth exploring include Portovenere, with its historic churches and castle. and Portofino, an elegant resort town popular among celebrities and artists. This independent itinerary allows active travelers to explore the beauty of the Italian Riviera at their own pace enjoying unforgettable hikes and picturesque landscapes.
DAY1: MONTEROSSO AL MARE, CINQUE TERRE
Arrival on your own in Monterosso al Mare, one of the five villages of the Cinque Terre National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Check in at your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure to start exploring this beautiful area.
DAY 2: TREKKING WITH GUIDE OF PALMARIA ISLAND, GULF OF POETS
Our tour guide will accompany you on today’s tour, as you travel by train to La Spezia, taking in the lovely scenery, before boarding the boat to the Island of Palmaria. You’ll enjoying trekking through the wilds of this island, finding the ruins of prisons, quarries and fortresses hidden among the strawberry trees. Our tour will then move to Portovenere, where you’ll have time to visit this charming town before taking the boat back to Monterosso. Overnight stay at your hotel in Monterosso.
DAY 3: MONTEROSSO AL MARE, CINQUE TERRE
After breakfast at your hotel, enjoy a day to do as you please. You could relax and sunbathe on the beach or tour the other villages of the Cinque Terre National Park including Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore by local train using your Cinque Terre Card (included). Perhaps you can also take a day trip to the famous town of Portofino, which has been a haven for celebrities and artists over the decades (optional activities not included). The day is all yours!
DAY 4: MONTEROSSO AL MARE, CINQUE TERRE
After breakfast at the hotel, our services will end.
