The itinerary
Cesena is a quintessential Italian town filled with old world cobblestone streets, quaint and colorful neighborhood buildings, and fantastic sightseeing landmarks such as Fontana Masini and Teatro Alessandro Bonci in the historic city center. Wander the city streets on a sunny afternoon and lose yourself in the charming character of this ancient city. Then it is off to the fabulous little town of Bertinoro for an authentic Italian wine tasting experience you are not soon to forget.
DETAILED ITINERARY:
You will board a motor coach accompanied by your professional guide to start the trip to Cesena, a town that borders the Adriatic Coast, where you will visit the historical city center. From this point, you’ll enjoy a visit to the Masini Fountain, as well as a view of the Malatesta Fortress and the Medieval Via Zeffirino Re. Your tour will also include the Palazzo del Ridotto and the Biblioteca Malatestiana, which was once a Franciscan convent. Next, you’ll transfer to Bertinoro, a town famed for its wine production. You’ll enjoy a visit to a wine cellar and sample several of the town’s wines before returning to your ship at the end of the tour
