The itinerary

The following itinerary offers the perfect introduction to the Calabria region with time in coastal areas, such as Tropea and Scilla, in addition to the region’s largest city, Reggio Calabria. Along the way, travelers will experience unforgettable excursions, such as a cruise to admire the nighttime eruptions of Stromboli. Come discover the beauty and charm of Calabria during this once-in-a-lifetime 7-day vacation.
Day 01: OUT-BOUND FLIGHT
Board your flight and begin your unforgettable trip to Calabria.
Day 02: TROPEA
After landing in Lamezia Terme Airport, meet with your private driver and travel to the stunning coastal town of Tropea. Check into your centrally located hotel, then begin exploring this enchanting town. Located on a cliff above the Gulf of Sant’Eufemia, Tropea is considered to be one of the most breathtaking coastal villages in the country.
Day 03: TROPEA
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, then take the day to discover Tropea’s many treasures. The historic center is home to several important monuments from Tropea’s past, including the twelfth-century Cathedral of Maria Santissima di Romania, the Church of Gesù, and the Church of Annunziata.
Day 04: TROPEA
Once you finish breakfast at the hotel, spend the morning and afternoon at a local beach of your choosing. From sandy beaches to picturesque coves, Tropea’s coastal location offers plenty of opportunities to go for a swim in the pristine water as well as sunbathe. For lunch, you can pack a picnic like the locals or enjoy regional specialties at a seaside restaurant.
Day 05: TROPEA, REGGIO CALABRIA
In the morning, check out of your hotel and travel south to Reggio Calabria, which is the region’s largest city. Check into your new hotel and begin to explore Reggio Calabria’s vast city center.
Day 06: REGGIO CALABRIA, SCILLA
After finishing breakfast at the hotel, set your sights on the nearby coastal gem of Scilla. This small town features a historic center and beach-front area. Travelers could choose to visit one of the historic churches, such as the Church of Santa Maria Immacolata or the Church of Spirito Santo, or climb up to Castello Ruffo. Located on a promontory, the castle offers dramatic views of the cliffs and sea. If you prefer, spend the day on the pebble beach to relax and unwind in the tranquil atmosphere.
Day 07: RETURN FLIGHT
In the morning, travel to Reggio Calabria Airport and board your return flight.
